Job Description

Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Chief Financial Office to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $225,000 to $325,000 per year.

Job Description:

Oversee and manage all financial aspects of the organization, including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Collaborate with executive leadership to provide financial insights and guidance in decision-making processes
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, lenders, and external auditors
Assess and manage financial risks, including compliance with applicable regulations and internal controls
Monitor and optimize cash flow, working capital, and financing activities
Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development
Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to inform financial strategies and decisions
Develop and implement effective financial strategies, policies, and procedures to drive the company's overall financial performance and growth

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (master's degree preferred)
Proven experience as a CFO or similar leadership role within the construction, engineering or land development industry
Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
Experience working for a company with a revenue of $100 Million or more
Strong leadership and team management skills
In-depth knowledge of financial and accounting principles, regulations, and best practices
Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide strategic recommendations
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
