Neilsoft's AEC/BIM Practice addresses needs of the AEC/O industry for A/S/MEPF BIM & Engineering Services, Scan2BIM / Reality capture, real-time Digital Twins, custom BIM automation solutions development, AI/ML-assisted solutions development and custom BIM 4D/5D solutions. We work with leading Architectural firms, MEP Consultants, Trade Contractors, Design-Build firms and Fabricators (Precast, Steel, Modular, Timber) to address the needs of different types of projects including Hospitals, Airports, Corporate campuses, Data Centers, Factories & Industrial Plants, Education & Institutional facilities.

The BIM Modeler - Electrical role is based out of our Canton, MI or Toronto , Canada office and is a fulltime, onsite position. This opportunity is ideal for someone seeking a long-term career path and wanting to make a meaningful impact as we continue to expand our North America operations.

Qualification:

\n

Formal college diploma / degree and / or relevant trade / professional experience, Electrical Engineering (preferred)

\n

\n

Required Skills & Experience:

\n

1. Engineers with experience with Autodesk Revit MEP and Autodesk Navisworks. Experience with Evolve will be an added advantage.

\n

2. Experience with modeling at LOD 300/ 400 for design / trade models

\n

3. Experience in Electrical construction & shop drawings creation/Documentation.

\n

4. Clash detection & Coordination using Autodesk Navisworks

\n

5. Basic knowledge of constructability

\n

6. Experience of working on Common data environments

\n

\n

Preferred Qualifications:

\n

1. Experience with Clash co-ordination tools like – BIMTRACK, BIM 360 issues, Revitzo, Newforma etc.

\n

2. Knowledge of mostly used Electrical Engineering design concepts, practices, & procedures.

\n

3. Experience with modelling of Electrical LV & ELV services

\n

4. Experience in Electrical construction & shop drawings creation/Documentation.

\n

5. Experience in Electrical equipment & services hanger/support modelling.

\n

6. Experience in reading & interpreting material submittals ( Cut sheets) for equipment's & Electrical services materials

\n

7. Experience in Parametric Revit Family creation.

\n
